Financial Analyst – Equities recruitment
The main function of the team is to provide control, daily PL and other analyses to the Flow Equity Derivatives business. The successful candidate will have daily PL and balance sheet responsibilities, more specifically, the candidate will be expected to:
• Perform Daily /Weekly/Monthly PL reporting and analysis to traders and senior management (including written commentary on PL and Balance Sheet movements)
• Review Balance sheet and comment on material variances
• Calculate, analyze and report Reserves and Provisions - in conjunction with IPV team
• Perform, analyze and report independent price verification
• Work closely with traders to understand their trading strategies and risks
• Liaison with trading desk, Valuations, front-office support, Operations and Global Reporting, to discuss and resolve ad hoc issues concerning bookings, valuations, new business, strategy and other areas.
• On a quarterly basis assist with disclosures
Desired Qualifications/Experience:
• ACA/ACCA/CPA is preferred
• 3+ Years of Experience, preferably in the Investment Banking Industry
• Experience with Equity Derivatives Products is a plus.
