Financial Analyst (Fluent French) recruitment
Job Purpose:
To assist the Business Partner, to provide relevant, accurate and timely management information to the Divisional Cost Centre Manager and senior team.
- To use financial expertise to model and formulate divisional financials to advise and support decision making through the month end, forecast, budget and planning cycles.
- To produce relevant reporting and analysis to support partnered decision making.
Key Accountabilities:
- Management Reporting: Analyse, review, report and advise on divisional and cost centre revenue and expenses in order to explain financial movements / trends / drivers to the divisional partners
- Accuracy: Liaise with cost centre managers to reflect accrual accounting to ensure cost / revenues are correctly reflected in the books and records
- Training: Train users on financial systems to enable Cost Centre managers to understand monthly forecasted / budgeted results
- Planning: Assist / evaluate and challenge: Forecasts/ Budgets / 3 Year Plan to enable the Business Partners to plan business on a short / medium and long term basis
- Analysing cost reports: Analysing cost reports for Cost centre in order to correct coding and analyse monthly costs of the divisions, and to achieve a clear comparison of cost throughout the budget period
- Intercos: Collating the information to set up internal billings, coding and follow up
- Ad hoc projects: Assist, develop, review and advise on any form of management information (financial and non financial) in order to assist the Business Partners to evaluate a specific business opportunity / risk
Essential Criteria:
- Fluency in French
- The post-holder is likely to be educated to degree level or equivalent
- The post-holder is likely to be CIMA / ACA / ACCA qualified or French equivalent
- The post holder is likely to possess a minimum of 2 years PQE in a finance environment.
- Experience within a Customer focused commercial environment
- Service industry experience preferred
- French, UK and IFRS GAAP experience
- Strong written / verbal communication skills (French and English)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to interrogate data and ask probing questions to determine information
- Multi currency transaction experience
- Excel / PowerPoint (Advanced)
