Financial Analyst, Global Asset Management Firm
Our client is a major global asset management firm with a well respected brand name. An opportunity has arisen due to the merger of two teams which cover financial control and management accounts. Due to this merger we require an experienced, individual with a broad range of finance knowledge for a role within an ambitious driven team.
In this role you will be responsible for leading a sub team of the financial control and analysis team in which you will be given specific responsibilities. However you will also have the opportunity to provide support across the wider team. As part of your core responsibilities you will be involved in Performance Analysis, Financial Control, Operations and ledger allowing you to utilise your range of knowledge and experience within finance.
The role allows great opportunities to be exposed to senior business stakeholders and to develop your team management skills. Whilst also allowing you to develop your analytical skills by being given the responsibility of evaluating business unit performance and communicating them to key stakeholders.
You must be an ambitious individual with a proactive support for the wider business whilst being able to quickly adapt to the business needs. You must also have strong analytical and commercial finance skills whilst also having good technical accounting knowledge whilst putting this into practice with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Key Requirements:
• Fully Qualified Accountant – ACA/CIMA/ACCA
• An individual who has trained in a Top 4/Top 20 accountancy firm with 2 + years’ experience minimum within an FS firm
• An individual who has both technical and commercial knowledge of finance
• Financial services experience required
• Strong academics with notable career achievements to date.
