Major Responsibilities:

Develop and runs complex financial models. Establishes financial assumptions and critical decision variables. Test for consistency and validity. Coordinate the preparation of budgets and forecasts as well as report monthly budget variance. Acts as liaison between Finance and department head.   35%
 
Oversees financial budget projects, including ensuring projects are delivered cost effectively and on budget.
 
May conduct and direct complex financial studies on such topics as risk-based capital allocation methodologies, interest rate analysis, data extract and design issues. Provides written analysis and interpretation of results.  May collaborate with the other units of the bank and/or external vendors.  Assigned projects may involve implementation of databases, business processes, or data quality assurance initiatives, as well as the management reporting.. 30%
 
Maintains financial systems or databases. Runs complex reports and/or program; develops new applications as needed.  Acts as liaison between department and systems personnel to develop or enhance systems. 15%
 
May act  as liaison between controllers and business unit management to ensure expenses are recorded in accordance with Bank accounting policy.  Performs additional duties and special projects, as assigned. 10%
 
Trains new staff members and other Bank personnel on the database and related algorithms. 10%
 
May supervise lower level staff, including hiring, firing, motivating, coaching, and training
 
May also provide system analysis including end user requirements, monthly validation and enhancement of the system and related reporting structure.
