The role: Financial Analyst, Global Sales Analytics Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. Our team of Financial Analysts foster the financial health of our organization by partnering closely with our various functions, tracking performance metrics and creating financial models. Our Financial Analysts are up to date with the latest economic trends and apply knowledge around rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements and investment performance to the projects at hand. As a Financial Analyst, you are called upon to build complex scenarios analyses that serve as the basis for recommendations that leaders of the business draw from to make critical strategic decisions. A master juggler working on multiple projects at a time, you maintain a consistently high level of attention to detail while finding creative ways to tackle financial challenges. With your analytics and financial savvy, you'll liaise between the Finance team with the functional areas it supports. You resolve issues related to forecasting, planning, resource prioritization and business profitability, and you help translate analyses into easy-to-understand presentations. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of Global Sales at Google and will act as a business partner to Google sales executives. You will be responsible for understanding the operational structure of various businesses across regions, products and channels, and your team will be the key point of contact with sales leaders on issues relating to budgeting, resource allocation, market investment strategies and revenue growth. You are a well-rounded top performer who will be a key contributor in a high-energy, high-growth environment and have a solid foundation in Finance. You have excellent data analysis skills and experience managing analytical teams. You should be able to perform deep dives into the underlying assumptions and quantitative details of all analyses, and perhaps most importantly, you are able to communicate your teamas findings to senior management in a clear and concise manner. Responsibilities: * Provide decision support to sales management through creation of decision tools, models, and ad hoc analysis. * Lead cross-functional projects partnering with finance, business operations, and global sales operations. * Run the central annual planning process, creating an integrated business plan across the organization. * Assist in creation of reporting and dashboards on business health for executive review. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting. (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience). Preferred Qualifications: * 2 years of analytical work experience with analytical skills and background (Excel, databases, SQL). * Attention to detail, organized and thorough, with desire for continuous improvements. * Organized, detail-oriented, and thorough approach to all projects. * Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
