POSITION SUMMARY:  
As a part of the Corporate FPA group, the person would be playing an Individual contributor role and will primarily be responsible for the Financial Reporting and Analysis along with team.
 
 
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (Describes this position's principal responsibilities in concise, comprehensive statements)
 
·        Prepare Monthly Forecast/Outlook/LTP PLs for various business groups and provide detailed Variance analysis
·        Profit and Loss analytics and reporting
·        Support for the Board/Outlook Decks
·        Monthly preparation of fixed asset Capitalization reports.
·        Building financial reports on Hyperion studio and workspace
·        Compiling and uploading of Plan and forecast numbers for PL lines
·        Track actual costs during Month end and Quarter end closure with the forecasted costs at the account level details
·        Other ad hoc  activities on financial reporting, analysis and research
·        Assisting the field finance groups and helping them out with any issues related to reporting.
 

QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

 
Education:
 
CA or CA inter or MBA (Finance) or B.Com
 
Work Experience:
 
4 to 5 years of Experience in Financial Forecasting, Reporting and Variance Analysis
SME in an Individual Contributor role preferred.
 
Knowledge Skills: Essential 
 
Should have a strong Accounting /Finance background
Should have a strong working knowledge of SAP
Should have a proficient knowledge on HP database Admin skills along with significant experience in reporting
Have a strong understanding of the PLs and the accounting treatment
Should have a strong analytical skills in understanding and drilling down on the variances
Excellent MS skills - Excel and PowerPoint;
 
Knowledge Skills: Desirable
 
MS Access knowledge would be a plus
