Job Description Financial Analyst I - Phoenix, AZ-1203411 Description The Global Client Analyst works as part of a team to provide guidance and support for accurate and timely settlements which are delivered to our contracted Corporate Travel customers in the N.A. market. This position is the financial resource for the Client Management Organization and will work with various business partners to actively support profitability, consultative and control requirements related to the settlement. This position will support a specific segment of Business Travel and is expected to deliver on the unique segment and client requirements. The analyst will from time to time, work directly with the external client to report on or support contractual requirements. The key job duties of the analysts are as follow: - Analyze the client contract and profile to ensure that the setup is correct (profiled) in the systems used for client billing. - QC client settlements to ensure settlement accuracy and comply with Audit and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. - Handle any extraordinary requests for adjustments to settlements or ad-hoc reporting requested by Client Managers, Directors and VP's. - Support the Account Reps as needed to ensure accuracy and consistency in delivering our product - Act as the liaison between Client Management to Global Travel Services Center in India which includes feedback and process guidance to the EXL settlement analyst - Provide direct support to the Client Management team with regard to settlement best practices, Business Travel Policy and system capabilities - Participate in system testing to implement new products and/or enhancements. - Provide training to Client Managers and other Field representatives. This individual should be able to effectively function as part of a global team using all communication methods available. The individual should have a strong accounting background with good general knowledge of management accounting and reporting principles. Analyst should have an ability to quickly grasp process/data/accounting flows and understand downstream effects of the client settlement process. Good general PC skills required. The candidate should have strong knowledge of all features of Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Access a plus. Knowledge of Amex travel back-office and other systems (GMAX, CS3, Walker, and Fee Allocator) preferred. Knowledge of other travel systems (GDS, POS tools) a plus.
