Financial Analyst Ii
Financial Analyst II Amazon seeks a Financial Analyst for one of our U.S. Fulfillment Centers. This role will report to the General Manager and Controller and will be responsible for producing and delivering financial and operational analyses which will allow the Fulfillment Center to work more efficiently and predictably with the highest level of customer satisfaction. Duties will include: Participating in staff planning and maintaining/improving metrics models Providing financial analysis to help identify cost reduction opportunities Providing analytical support for facility costs Collecting and analyzing quantitative data from the manufacturing process paths used in measuring site productivity Designing and maintaining reports based on collected data Communicating results to Controller and other department leaders Maintaining data integrity Participating in month end close, tracking/reporting of the employee variable compensation program, auditing invoices from temporary agency, and validating financial savings from Kaizen improvement projects Proven ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field 1+ years of relevant work experience (can include relevant internships) 1+ years Excel experience Fluency in standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills a plus Solid problem solving and root cause analysis experience Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and business sense Strong attention to detail, and the ability to self-start and self-motivate Leadership skills and the ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Amazon is an Equal Opportunity Employer
