Financial Analyst-Int’l Entertainment Giant Job in New York 10017, New York US
This position reports to Manager, Financial Planning Analysis. The primary object involves meeting stringent deadlines, creating presentations, generating reports, operational analysis and various special projects. Responsibilities include: - Calculate and analyze various financial and operational metrics on a monthly basis as compared to annual budget, forecast and historical trends. - Prepare financial results of three business units for presentation to senior management on a monthly basis as compared to annual budget, forecast and historical trends. - Prepare financial analysis related to acquisition and business development activities. - Provide financial support to sales and operations management. - Develop and maintain financial models for existing and new business initiatives. - Prepare Ad Hoc reporting for senior management. - Drive and implement new process changes to foster a continuously improving business environment. Qualifications: - BA/BS required - CPA or MBA a plus - 2+ years of finance or accounting experience in industry or investment banking - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint - Knowledge of Oracle and Access a plus - Strong analytical skills - Strong communication skills - Must be willing to work overtime to meet deadlines - Individual must be a team player with strong ethics - Excellent time management and job prioritization skills - Detail oriented and be able to multi-task - Ability to work individually or as part of a group on special projects - Able to work in a deadline oriented, fast paced environment.
