Financial Analyst (IS Management Specialist I)
- Responsible for the financial tracking, reporting, and analysis of all Information Services expenditures.
- Collect, prepare, and analyze financial information for IS leadership and business partners, identifying risks and opportunities to assist in meeting objectives.
- Provide variance analysis to gain insight into business results and improve future forecasting and budgets.
- Manage the IS purchase process by tracking and reporting all expenditures and ensuring requests are properly authorized.
- Manage the IS invoice payment process, ensuring invoices contain the appropriate financial information, are properly authorized and processed on time.
- Manage the IS consulting process by reviewing all engagements and tracking assignments to determine the financial impacts.
- Support the monthly accounting processes by providing appropriate information for any necessary accruals and ensuring the appropriate recognition of monthly expenses.
- Maintain and enhance the tools necessary to provide financial analysis and performance reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members of the IS organization and the business partners we support.
- Four year degree required
- 2 - 4 years relevant work experience required
- Ability to create, analyze and deliver financial information for budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- Ability to identify potential issues and discrepancies, and offer recommended resolutions
- Proficient in MS Excel and SAP Accounting software to create reports and query data preferred
- Experience in Information Systems and/or Telecommunications preferred
- Strong organization and time management skills required
