The Financial Analyst is responsible for conducting and documenting moderate to complex financial analysis projects. Develop and maintain daily/weekly/monthly business reporting needs. May develop methodologies to determine the PL impact of initiatives including: sales, margin, and expense structure. Assists in preparation of seasonal budgets, long range planning and weekly forecasting process. Typically reports to a Finance Manager.
Must possess the ability to:
- Perform business and profitability analysis on a detailed basis
- Prepare and analyze business reporting
- Lead monthly budget meetings for various departments
- Assist in weekly forecasting process
- Prepare expense related analysis including detailed variance explanations
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-range plans
- Complete special projects as directed
- Identify, recommend and implement process improvements
- Foster cross-functional partnerships

Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree (finance, accounting, engineering, economics majors preferred)
- Up to 2 years financial analysis experience
- Advanced degree, CPA or MBA a plus
- Retail experience a plus
