Experis Finance is currently seeking Financial Analyst in the St Louis area. This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of going perm. I've listed the job description below for your review:
A detailed description of the project and what the position entails must be included:
Coordinate employee changes to Commission targets (i.e. Joiner/Leavers) with HR, Finance, Business Ops, and Sales Staff
Ensure annual targets and payments are accurately reported in the ICM system on a periodic basis
Review and approve Adjustment/Protection requests from Sales Staff
Consolidate Protection Requests and relevant supporting documentation for presentation to Sales Management and Segment Finance
Perform Monthly/Quarterly commission calculations and present to Sales Management Segment Finance for Review and Approval
Prepare Monthly/Quarterly Commission Statements, reconcile Statements with payroll file, and resolve Sales Staff queries
Reinforce and interpret established policies (GCF) with Sales Staff and the application of the GCF in specific scenarios
Execute responsibilities according to the Commissions Operating timetable
Education:
Equivalent of a BA/BS
Required Skills (Must have), Necessary industry experience and associated number of years of experience:
Minimum of 2 yr. experience in Finance/Accounting
Effective Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Commitment to delivering high-quality, responsive Customer Service
Good Knowledge of MS Excel -ability to manipulate pivot tables and formulas- This is critical
Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to perform under established policies and perform with a sense of urgency in order to meet aggressive deadlines
Good organizational skills and ability to understand customer workflow and priorities
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
Ability to remain on task and work independently who does not require hand holding or oversight.
Must be comfortable with Database Query's
