Large, public tri valley company looking for a Financial Analyst with 2+ years experience to work with sales and marketing (no experience needed). TWO PROFILES WORK: Financial Analyst with 2+ years experience OR CPA firm (ideal Big 4) with at least 1 1/2 years experience. Position Summary: The Financial Analyst will provide analytical support to the Cardiovascular Divisions Sales Marketing and Research and Development Organizations in an effort to drive financial performance across both areas. Responsibilities: This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Provide financial support for the Sales Marketing and RD organizations including, forecasting, budgeting, and departmental spending variances Participate in the annual planning process Participate in process improvements to make the SM and RD financial support organizations more scaleable. Assist in the preparation of a monthly reporting package Actively partner with the organization to drive accuracy in forecasting and planning as well as, managing to budget. Build ad-hoc analytical models to support forecasting, budgeting, and other financial and non-financial data when necessary. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance Two to five years of financial planning and analysis experience Strong systems knowledge including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint required. Additional Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and modeling skills Experience with database management and OLAP tools a plus Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
