Our client is a highly reputable FMCG business with a requirement for a Financial Analyst for their Manufacturing division, based in Dublin North. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager you will have strong financial planning and analysis skills including previous experience in the production of annual budgets, cash flow forecasting, financial benchmarking and general financial reporting. This is a permanent position in North County Dublin that would be well suited to a CIMA / ACCA Accountant who trained in Industry and is eager to progress their career in a leading FMCG firm.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manufacturing reporting process from annual budget, strategic plans, cash flow forecasting to cost of production PL
• Act as Financial support to a variety of plants across Europe compiling monthly estimates
• Perform financial benchmarking for manufacturing
• Ensure savings included in the budget PL
• Strives for continuous improvement in the streamlining of financial processes leveraging SAP where possible
• Actively work with Plant Finance Controllers to understand plant operations and to direct and support financial decision making
• Challenge financial variances, facilitate the production of Plant reporting explanations
• Ad-hoc reporting requests

Key requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACMA / ACCA or equivalent) with experience gained in FMCG, Manufacturing or similar field
• Strong analytical capabilities, with a high degree of numeracy, an organised approach and attention to detail - ability to distil key messages from complex data, summarising risks and opportunities – advanced excel capabilities
• Strong communication and influencing ability for partnering with various teams across the business
