Financial Analyst is responsible for accurate and timely financial records, financial analysis, and budgeting functions for the company.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist in the development of annual operating and capital budgets. Monitor actual operating results against budgets.
* Assist CFO and Controller with recommendations on process, system, and reporting improvements and the implementation of enhancements..
* Supports monthly and year-end close process, and audits by external auditors.
* Prepare and distribute internal reports for management.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent
* experience and interest in logistics a plus
* minimum of 5 years experience in Finance
* Must be able to ask questions and learn quickly and possess leadership skills.
* Must be self-motivated and able to prioritize own workload.
* Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
* Must have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
* Must be PC literate with proficient knowledge of MS Office Suites (Windows, Excel, Word).
