Posted Position Title: Financial Analyst Career Level: Experienced Function Finance Function Segment: Financial Planning and Analysis Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: Illinois City: Hanover Park Postal Code: 60133-5462 Relocation Assistance Yes Role Summary/Purpose: The Financial Analyst demonstrates accountability to provide direction and assistance to the distribution operation team in order to meet assigned financial objectives, and support Transportation Global Supply Chain Origination. Integrates and develops matrices and processes that meet business and controllership needs. In this role, you will: Essential Responsibilities - Provide financial reports and participate in monthly operating reviews to discuss actual account performance versus operating targets - Be the functional expenses administrator, of total of $25 MM in expenses - Be the financial cost leader for the distribution and assisting in controlling inventory total of $125M - Assist the warehouse financial performance to meet operating targets, identify Risk and Opportunities and support Operations team to perform consistently and within GE controllership rules - Focus on evaluating processes and create scorecards to drive simplification and to identify areas for improvement - Drive controllership and audit compliance related to global supply chain financials - Develop routines and controls to support global business growth and global warehousing as it relates to controllership - Support the Monthly / Quarterly Accounting Closing process and Physical Inventory Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial or operational warehouse / distribution related position Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
