Job Overview:
The Financial Analyst will utilize superior analytical and data management skills to support the operations and accounting functions of the corporate team. The perfect candidate will have the opportunity to think creatively in order to improve business processes through the management and creation of business metric reports for asset management, sales, operations, and accounting. The position will be instrumental in preparing financial reports and interacting with various parties within the organization in order to help implement the company’s business plans. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a fast paced, financial/accounting environment.
Duties Responsibilities:
· Maintain and prepare business metric reports
· Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for executives
· Oversee asset management tracking system
· Compile daily sales data to update revenue reports
· Track intercompany transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting
· Reconcile bank statements and investment statements
· Maintain general ledger entries as well as weekly payable functions
· Track project costs and budgets
· Monitor cash flow from operations
· Participate in budgeting and capital expenditures planning
· Provide financial analysis as needed
Skills Qualifications:
· At least 2 years of experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, Master’s Degree a plus but not a requirement
· Strong skills with Microsoft Excel (including data analysis tools such as pivot tables and arrays)
· Experience with accounting software
· Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of management
· Flexible and adaptable to dynamic business environment
· Bilingual in English and Spanish (reading and speaking)
· High degree of initiative; highly motivated self-starter that can work in a competitive environment
· Detail oriented and able to multi-task effectively and meet hard deadlines
· Must possess a high degree of business ethics
