POSITION PURPOSE:
Prepares financial and business related research, analyses, and reporting in the area of finance, sales, operations, and other related areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under minimal supervision:
- Prepares month-end and quarter-end management reporting.
- Prepares financial and business related analysis and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.
- Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions and other related areas.
- Ensures compliance with GAAP and Corporate Policy.
- Creates hypotheses and analyses to indentify and recommend business process improvements that result in increased Company profits.
- Utilizing PC and/or mainframe based systems and software; compiles and prepares reports, graphs and charts of data developed
- Prepares ad hoc analyses appropriate for all levels of the organization.
- Participates in software implementations throughout the Business Unit.
- Works with Business Units to gather information and develop best practices.
- Conducts special financial and business related studies and cooperates with other departments in preparing analyses.
- Constant focus on process improvements in all areas of the business and position.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- CPA or CFA required
- Costing Experience preferred
- Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have outstanding Excel problem solving skills
- Access or Crystal Query and Report Writing Experience
- Minimum of 5 years business related experience.
- Must be able to make decisions based on precedent and solve arising problems using sound professional judgment, experience, and conducting research.
- Detail oriented/process driven
- Pro-active/anticipates future needs
- Continuous process improvement/incremental change
- Fast-paced
- Must have a thorough understanding of the organization, work environment, and processes with strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques and GAAP.
- Strong technical skills required to complete assignments; might be required to train others in areas of technical expertise.

- Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Intermediate to advanced skill level on Excel.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Travel as required.
