Financial Analyst Job in New York, New York US
A Luxury Goods Company located in New York City, NY has an excellent opportunity for a Financial Analyst with responsibilities as follows:
- Provide financial support to management through the preparation of financial statements, monthly and quarterly reporting to parent company, consolidation of financial data and various reporting requirements in accordance with GAAP
- Composition of US GAAP and Benefit Financial Statements
- Responsible for the continued maintenance, integrity and development of the current SAP financial system and the balancing and integration with the Hyperion Planning system
- Balance Sheet account analysis, preparation of financial statement commentaries and analysis, reconciliation of financial reporting systems
- Assist in maintenance and development of financial controls (JSOX)
- Other ad hoc reporting as required
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA a plus
- 7-10 years of public accounting
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid knowledge of accounting principals and finance skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and SAP knowledge Hyperion reporting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
The total compensation range is from $75,000 to $90,000.
