Cooper Notification is in search of a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This position will provide a motivated, self-starter with the opportunity to learn and grow alongside our expanding manufacturing organization.
- Create and analyze daily activity and monthly reports to include revenue recognition, project/equipment margins and variance analysis
- Work with Operations and Project Management teams to ensure the results are delivered
- Analyze monthly/quarterly/ yearly financial results
- Assist in monthly closing via standard corporate reporting and development of accrual analysis for significant accounts
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial management package
- Preparation of rolling forecasts and budget plan
- Review spending and operating performance against planned goals and identify areas at risk and opportunities for cost improvement
- Analyze justifications for productivity savings and ROI
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies
- Recommend new internal controls and operating procedures
- Support special projects at management’s request
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors in Finance or Accounting
- CPA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a project based environment
- Understanding of project/cost accounting is required
- Experience with SAP preferred, or other full functionality MRP/ERP systems
- High level skill in Excel and proficient in PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and work management skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage several projects and deliver results in short work cycles
