Financial Analyst Junior/Senior recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Build datasets and prepare information for use in analysis and stress-testing based on e.g. macro-level inputs, supervisory findings, and regional/international macro-data

• Provide substantive analytical and statistical work primarily focusing on macroeconomic and financial sector trends affecting stability

• Review and interpret information/data to identify issues and recommend action/solutions to reduce emerging systemic risks

• Build and update “systemic stability dashboard” templates with indicators for continual monitoring and analysis of financial sector risks

• Collect and prepare the content of the semi-annual Financial Stability Report (FSRs) for the Bank’s management and external publication

• Keep abreast of best practices and developments in the field of systemic stability including international and local market trends.

Skills :

• Strength in summarising and communicating key findings of data search and analysis

• Outstanding written and oral communication skills

• Must be fluent in English (Arabic speaking will be an advantage)

• Proactive work attitude; independent working style

• Able to deliver to deadlines

Experience Qualification

• At least (3 to 5) years experience as a Financial Analyst with a Bank, Central Bank, Government, supra-national institution or industry association providing regular analysis of the macro-economic environment. 

• Masters Degree in Finance, Economics or related fields from a recognised university.
