As the market leader within Australia, our Structured Asset Finance division is looking to appoint a new Financial Analyst to the team. This exciting opportunity will see you join a global business where we develop and deliver sophisticated domestic and cross border asset based product solutions to the Institutional Banking client base across Asia, North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand predominately focusing on the aviation, marine, rail and mining sectors.
In this role you will work within the Structured Asset Finance Execution team based in Sydney supporting the Structured Asset Finance Group globally, with responsibility from a financial quantitative perspective for the analysis and structuring of highly complex leasing and asset finance transaction models.
To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and possess the composure and drive to commit to meet tight transaction deadlines. You will be a constructive team player and will have highly developed organisational skills. Candidates are expected to have a tertiary qualification in actuarial studies, finance or a business related discipline with a strong academic record coupled with 2-3 years actuarial/quantitative analytical experience. Working knowledge of financial instruments or lending products and services are highly desirable.
