Financial Analyst (m/f)
With access exposure to travellers globally – Bacardi Global Travel Retail covers airlines, airport stores, cruises, ferries border shops. The primary focus of the role is to support the European Finance Manager by taking financial responsibility for the Central Eastern European (CEE) sub region to provide performance measurement and planning and to work together with sales and marketing via first class reporting and decision support to facilitate effective and quick decision making which is critical in the dynamic Global Travel Retail working environment.
Description of position:
- Performance measurement and planning: take responsibility for the subregion (Central and Eastern Europe) month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting process
- Provide Sales Marketing decision support, act as a business partner to internal departments, act as first point of contact and support team with any queries
- Structure cost decision support and ad hoc analysis: support financial and operational planning, budgeting, forecasting and analytics for structure costs
- Maintain a system of internal controls throughout the subregion to assure financial information is accurate, timely and technically robust
- Act as an ambassador for Travel Retail, ensuring the business unit is kept on the forefront of decision making wherever it has an impact on financial process
- Carry out other ad hoc projects as required
Requirements:
- Appropriate qualification in Finance to degree level or equivalent
- Recognised accountancy qualification preferred
- Experience in a financial role, ideally in an FMCG company
- Strong I.T. literacy (Advanced Excel, Powerpoint) and the ability to use IT to ensure personal effectiveness
- Solid numerical and analytical skills
- Strong commercial awareness
- Experience in working with SAP is advantageous
- Advanced level of diligence and attention to detail
- Motivated to develop skill set and advance within the business
- Ability and desire to work effectively in teams
- Able to prioritise effectively
- Culturally sensitive and strong communicator
- Flexibility to travel regularly
- Fluency in English and German
