Financial analyst recruitment
A large commodity trading house is currently searching for a qualified accountant (ACA preferable) to join their growing team as a Derivative analyst. My client has undergone steady growth over the past 5 years and is well positioned to maintain this through the next few years. Well recognised within the commodity trading sector as being one of the most successful companies and best to work for, the successful candidate will be working for a world wide recognised business which will have nothing but positive implications on their future career.
As the Derivative analyst, you will be reporting into a Financial Controller with the role having potential for managing a small team of 2 or 3 more junior accountants. Responsibilities will include:
• Process evaluation and consequently redesign
• Liaising with Front office on a regular basis
• Management Information reporting
• Reviewing and consolidation of results
With the position offering extensive front office exposure, candidates with trading experience (ideally commodities but not a pre requisite) either in the middle office or back office will be preferred. The ideal candidate will have qualified within Practice (preferably Top 10) and have recent industry experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with trading exposure to join a well recognised brand within the commodity trading market. On offer is a basic salary of between £60,000 and £75,000 depending on experience. An excellent benefits package is also included.
