Financial Analyst recruitment

SN Power Invest is a rapidly growing international renewable energy company mainly investing in hydropower. Part of the Statkraft Group, the largest renewable energy company in Europe, SN Power is building on more than 100 years of developing, owning and operating hydropower plants. Headquartered in Norway and with established operations in Asia and Latin America, SN Power has recently expanded into Africa and Central America. Critical to our future success in Asia is the appointment of one to two talented and highly motivated financial analysts. Should SN Power decide to hire two analysts, one will be more senior than the other.

ORGANISATION:

This role reports to the Vice President – Business Development Asia (based in Singapore)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Financial modeling: develop, adapt and customise models to drive valuations and support decision-making relating to acquisitions and greenfield investments.

• Financial analysis: conduct analysis of new and existing assets and deliver insight that will shape and influence investment decisions and on-going operations.

• Corporate activity: support the preparation of corporate documents for bidding and acquisition transactions as well as greenfield projects.

• Industry analysis: in collaboration with other team members locally and internationally conduct industry research and competitor analysis.

YOUR PROFILE:

• A degree in Business, Finance, Economics from a leading institution

• For the junior analyst position: At least  2-3 years of working experience in relevant area (corporate banking, investment banking, finance department of international consultancy, project finance team of a large corporate entity)

• For the senior analyst position: At least 3-5 years of working experience in relevant area (corporate banking, investment banking, finance department of international consultancy, project finance team of a large corporate entity)

• Experience in valuation and financial modeling and running acquisition or divestment processes, preferably from the power sector and preferably in Asia.

• Fluent written and spoken English – further language skills would be advantageous.

• Must be willing to travel (a 30% travel commitment is likely)
