In order to strengthen the After Sales Marketing Parts Department and its AS financial processes, Mercedes-Benz is looking for a (m/f):

Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst, you hold the role of financial partner for the After Sales department. You will be part of a passionate and skilled team of specialists. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the accurate monthly monitoring and analysis of the After Sales department’s financial results. You hereby provide a thorough analysis of both the cost / revenue and cash flow discrepancies. Based on your findings, you will prepare a 'state of the art’ presentation in order to communicate the significant findings to the management. In addition to the financial analysis, you will also take the monthly / yearly budget planning for your account. In coordination with the Product Management department, you will exchange information in order to assess the impact of marketing strategies and to estimate the turnover for the upcoming months. At the end of the year, you will compare the forecasts with actual sales and locate the major deviations. Furthermore, you bear the responsibility for monitoring the new Parts Sales’ Reporting tool. You will evaluate the performance of the application and download the necessary monthly figures for the financial analysis. Finally, you will work closely with the management on various projects amongst other things risk management and ISO certification. You will report directly to the Operations Control Team Leader.

You have a Master degree in Business Economics / Business Engineer or a financial specialisation. A first professional experience in a similar position is seen as a strong asset but isn’t essential. The statistical analysis doesn’t scare you off and you have the necessary communication skills to build strong presentations. Your planning and organization skills enable you to follow up different procedures and thanks to your proactive approach you will take action when and where needed. You have a good knowledge of the MS Office package (Excel PowerPoint mainly / Access is a plus). You master both national languages (French Dutch) and speak fluent English.
