Financial Consultant – Corporate Treasury recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Supports Corporate Treasury activities by providing comprehensive analytical support including competitor and industry benchmarking analysis and development of analytical models
• Leads and participates in a variety of corporate finance and other finance projects including managing multiple workstreams and external consultants
• Draws independent conclusions from analytical work and prepares presentations and briefings for senior management
• Develops business and budget plans and monitors performance
• Performs market and transaction research, negotiates transaction documentation
• Assists with transaction settlement, reporting and valuation activities
• Co-ordinates capital management discussions with subsidiaries and functional areas
• Utilizes knowledge of GAAP and statutory accounting and capital markets to prepare analysis
• Prepares internal and external reports and information briefings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s or MBA degree is preferred
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in the financial services industry; 4 or more years of experience applying or providing complex technical knowledge and advice
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated track record of building complex financial models
• Hands-on knowledge of corporate finance and capital management processes
• Strong expertise in MS Excel modeling, MS PowerPoint, Bloomberg, SNL, and Factset
• Knowledge of GAAP and statutory insurance accounting
• Solid project management expertise and time management skills
• Knowledge of insurance industry is preferred
• Self-starting personality with focus on end results
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
