Job Responsibilities

Develop an understanding of client strategic direction, issues and project goals and assist in creatively identifying means of achieving these
Analyze existing technical infrastructure and business processes of clients and identify development needs, limitations, and gaps
Participate in the long-term success of an implementation project focused on software solutions for the financial services industry, specifically treasury
Build working relationship with sponsors, senior business managers and key end users to resolve issues related to prioritization, requirements definition or scope conflicts
Establish and manage relationships with vendors of third party packaged software solutions for effective deployment of vendor-managed project resources and activities
Manage diverse project teams whose members have varied functional responsibilities
Lead project implementations from the front, with a hands-on approach
Report timely and accurately on project progress, issues and risks
Ensure transition of the project from a build phase to a run phase via suitable training, documentation and knowledge transfer
Ensure the delivery of assigned projects within the time, cost and quality constraints
Assist in development of new client proposals

Professional Requirements

Bachelor Degree/Masters Degree/MBA
Professional experience of 2 to 6 years within the financial services industry. You have already been active in front to back projects.
Eager to travel and work in cross-border/cross-disciplined teams at client site
A deep knowledge of market operations (Front, Middle and Back office) as well as an understanding of both the financial instruments and the financial applications supporting their lifecycles
Functional application knowledge of the following systems will be an advantage: Murex, Calypso, Sophis, Kondor+ and Murex Limits Control
Technical skills in Sybase/Oracle, shell scripting and Unix, Working knowledge of XML, Java, C/C++, Web technologies, Visual Basic including VBA will be an advantage.
