Financial Consultant recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direction to clients on their investment decisions, including preparation of illustrations and proposals.
- Establish and maintain active relationships with clients.
- Assist clients in the new account opening process, including the gathering of necessary customer profile information in order to determine product(s) and investment suitability.
- Seek referral opportunities and follow-up on potential sales leads.
- Track the sales process, including workflow procedures and proper documentation.
- Become an expert in various investment and insurance products and features with a strong focus on asset gathering opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree Required
- 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the financial services industry.
- Series 7, Series 63, and State Insurance license is highly preferred. Can obtain licenses within 6 months of hire.
- Series 65 is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to be confident, enthusiastic, and motivated sales professional.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Experience with IRA's and familiarity with IRS pub. 590 helpful.
