Financial Controller – Securities recruitment

Our client is a well-established and reputable Global Securities firm currently expanding their Hong Kong operations. Due to this, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join a dynamic and growing Securities organization.
Our client has a strong financial backing from their parent company and has aggressive expansion plans for the Hong Kong operations, this will allow you to really sink your teeth and be a part of a dynamic and developing organization. You can leverage off the Parent Company’s infrastructure and templates whilst at the same token taking ownership of the HK office. You will be supporting the Front, bank and Middle Office operations and you will value add to the business from day one.
In this position you will be responsible for maintaining the company’s accounts and financials liaise with external regulators and auditors, been involved with the strategic leadership teams and monitor the funding and liquidity of the organization.
To assume this position you will be a qualified Accountant with a minimum 3 years’ experience in a Leadership / Management responsibilities, familiar with local regulatory requirements, ability to lead and motivate staff, a background in Securities or financial services industry is essential. The successful applicant must be fluent in English with the ability to converse in Cantonese or Mandarin.
