Financial Controller
A locally owned and rapidly growing luxury fashion retail business based in West London has a requirement for an Interim Financial Controller to cover maternity leave.
This company has taken hold of a niche in the luxury fashion retail industry, and is going from strength to strength as they grow their brand, and diversify their product range and improve their service offerings. Due to the impending maternity leave of their Financial Controller, this company is looking for a like-minded, and progressive individual who can help them continue on their successful path.
We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with some commercial experience, and who has worked in a finance role in the retail industry. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to motivate a small team, and will understand the need to be ahead of the curve with financial reporting and management information. Technical aspects of the role will include preparation of statutory accounts, full production and presentation of monthly board packs, working capital management, business planning, financial modelling, and implementing/improving stock control and logistics processes. This broad role will require someone who is self-motivated, proactive, and organised, and who understands the fast-paced nature of the retail business, particularly in growing companies.
