Reporting to the Group CFO you will oversee the day to day finance function across the group. You will have the responsibility for managing and controlling all financial related matters, in addition to ensuring compliance with legal and statutory duties.
You will be required to maintain a rigorous control environment, ensuring strong financial governance. You will also manage the day to day budgeting, forecasting and planning for the business, influence strategy and monitor cashflow and operating performance.
This broad role will suit an experienced Financial Controller from a listed company. The role requires a range of skills and the candidate must have a hands-on approach.
* CA/CPA qualification and Financial Services sector experience is desirable.
* Demonstrated high level, practical business, commercial and financial acumen
* ASX Listing/IPO experience highly desirable
* Proven experience working with large time critical projects
The role requires the candidate to be deeply engaged in day to day financial operations including:
* Assisting the CFO with the day to day management of the finance function including budgets, planning, analysis, reporting and taxation
* Compilation of budgets and forecasts, KPI data and variance analysis, cost management
* Ensuring internal controls are in place and managed
* Working with compliance to implement and manage an appropriate compliance and risk management framework
* Provide commercial, operational and strategic input across all aspects of the group

To be eligible to apply for this position you must have an appropriate Australian or New Zealand work visa. The role will be based in Sydney but may require travel interstate from time to time.
