Financial Controller
I am working with the Founder of an exciting, fast growth, technology product distribution business who is now looking to recruit a Financial Controller to work closely with him and maximise the businesses potential. The company is a leading distributor of the latest accessories and technology for Smartphone and tablets. They work with exciting new start up companies to help them market their products and utilise their relationships with leading e-commerce and retail business to get their products out into the market.
As Financial Controller, there will be two key parts to your role. Firstly you will be responsible for managing all aspects of finance for the business, leading a team of two, producing management and statutory accounts and managing cash flow. The other side of this role will be much more commercially focused and give you the opportunity to play a key part in planning for the business, developing pricing and rates models and evaluating new opportunities for the business to grow.
This position offers you the opportunity to grow with the business and in time make this a Finance Director role.
I am therefore looking for a driven and forward thinking qualified accountant who is currently working as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller in a retail or distribution business. You will either have experience in another small growing business or maybe be working for a large company and want to move to a role where you can really feel like you are part of the business and have the opportunity to add value. I will expect to see that you have the experience and ability to manage all aspects of finance for a business and have the confidence to partner and support and entrepreneurial Managing Director.
