Financial Controller
A leading design business, based in South West London, are looking to recruit a Financial Controller to manage their finance team.
This role will be reporting directly to the Managing Director of the business and will involve overseeing all day to day aspects of the finance team in addition to providing strategic support to the MD.
This is an all encompassing role which will include system and process development in addition to improving reporting mechanisms and key commercial information which is available to the MD.
Further duties will include:
Day to day financial management
Auditing and overseeing all regulatory and compliance issues
Monthly management reports
Analysis of Work In Progress and providing up to date forecasts
Improving Job costing processes.
This role is ideally suited to a Qualified Accountant who has had exposure to Work In Progress and has a thorough understanding of the accounting implications associated with WIP. This role will involve liaison at all levels across the business, so excellent communication skills are a must. A background in system improvement and providing monthly management information is also essential for this role.
