Financial Controller
One of the most highly regarded names in Investment Management that continues to grow year on year and outperform its competitors, is currently in the process of increasing headcount in the London office. This is a business that truly cares about the development of their staff and very much like to promote from within. On this occasion, the business is going out of their internal network and is looking for a Financial Controller to come on board and take charge of the corporate accounting of subsidiaries in London and Europe. This is a top to bottom role where you will get your hands into the detail but you will also perform high level review the work of third party administrators on the fund side.
Given the nature of the role, we are looking for a big 4 trained candidate (ACA or CPA) that has gained the technical skill set of auditing clients within the financial services space and then move in house working for an investment manager in a hands on role. The ideal candidate will be working within the Hedge Fund, Asset Management, Private Equity or Real Estate sector where they are performing corporate accounting responsibilities and also have some exposure to the fund entities also. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be working with senior profiles across the whole business.
