Financial Controller (AIM listed Global Business)
Our client, an AIM listed business with international operations are looking for a qualified accountant to come into the business and work from a strategic perspective whilst taking responsibility for the accounting function.
This will be the perfect opportunity for someone to take on their first financial controller position, developing experience across financial accounts, management accounts and strategic projects.
The successful candidate will be required to deputise regularly for the Finance Director as the businesses international interested expand.
The Role
Supervision of transactional team
Responsibility for preparation of management accounts
Responsibility for preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS
International project work, driving business performance looking at margin, overheads and profit
Budgets vs actuals
Presentation of commercial findings to senior stakeholders
The Requirement
Qualified accountant ACA / ACCA
Motivation to work within a commercial role
Supervisory experience
Strong Excel
