Financial Controller (Boutique Insurance Business) recruitment
A boutique insurer who has experienced rapid growth is looking to appoint a Financial Controller to lead and manage a small finance team, create strong controls and infrastructure within the finance function whilst partnering with the executive team to assist with continued growth.
The role:
- Management of a small team
- Prepare and review financial / management reporting
- Ensure effective processes and controls are implemented for finance to run smoothly and efficiently
- Build strong relationships across the business to offer strategic advice and analysis
- Project and process improvement coupled with ad-hoc analysis
The person:
- Qualified Accountant (CA / CPA or equivalent)
- Strong general insurance experience
- Demonstrated ability to improve efficiencies and create a strong control focused environment
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills
- High level of influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to build credible relationships across all levels
- Detail orientated with the ability to step back and see the commercial view
