Financial Controller – Energy Trading recruitment
A market leading Global Energy Trading business experiencing year on year growth, require a Financial Controller to establish a Swiss based finance function. This position will work in conjunction with the Country Managing Director and require close liaison with the Group HQ in order to successfully manage all accounting, reporting, tax treasury, and settlements activities.
It is essential the incumbent demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of internal control implementation within an energy or commodity trading business and applies a flexible approach in their workings.
Key responsibilities will include, amongst others:
- Control of accounting and reporting requirements under IFRS
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory, group and management reporting
- On-going establishment of internal controls and processes, working closely with HQ to roll-out those in existence
- Management of regional financial planning processes, providing support in developing strategy and budgets
- Manage cash flow operations and relevant reporting, with support from central treasury teams
- Ensure timely and accurate generation, posting, and settlement of trade and overhead invoices
- Implementation of SAP across various modules
