Financial Controller for Dynamic SME
My client is a £10 million turn over dynamic sales company which provides consultancy services to the professional sector. They are located in the west end in smart contemporary offices and have a strong team working culture. The business is going from strength to strength and as such they are expanding their finance team with the appointment of a financial controller. This is an superb opportunity to positively contribute to a growing business.
This role reports directly into the finance director taking control of all the external financial and internal management reporting for the business as well as the financial planning and analysis, cash flow management and the management of a small finance teams. The position is really important to the business as it should also act as a business partnering support function to the executive team in helping them understand the financials of the business.
My client is looking to appoint a qualified accountant with a strong background in financial and management accounting and reporting (including external statutory accounts under UK GAAP, the ability to smoothly run a finance team and the cash position of the business. Applicants must have strong financial planning and budgeting skills and also possess strong analytical skills. Critically applicants must be strong communicators with a natural gravitas to lead a small team and support and influence the executive.
This role is being offered on either a purely interim basis or on a temporary to permanent basis and they are looking for candidates who can start immediately.
