Financial Controller for International Media Company
An exciting new role has become available for a Financial Controller for a 3 month interim role within a well-established creative agency in London. The role involves working along side highly successful FD who has been involved in growing the business substantially in the last few years and who is looking to continue this growth with the help of a Financial Controller. The position is being recruited on an interim basis due to cover the notice period of the newly appointed FC.
The company is looking for a good manager who can communicate at all levels. They are friendly, outgoing and highly creative and recruit exceptionally talented individuals into all areas of the business. Finance is regarded as integral to the business and the FC will work alongside operational and creative teams daily.
The responsibilities of the Financial Controller will include assisting the finance director in the management of the finance team of seven and to oversee all financial matters for the business which will include production and presentation of monthly; quarterly and annual accounts, liaising with auditors, budgets and forecasts. There is also scope for contract evaluation and negotiation for clients and suppliers. This person will partner with the wider business looking into new ventures and operational reporting. They will be insuring all controls are adhered to and focusing on the business investments. Other duties may include analysis-surrounding clients and Ad-hoc projects. This role would be commencing immediately and previous exposure to DSS and Hyperion is essential.
