Financial and Operations controller (VP) for a Private Equity / Venture Capital Business
For the Venture Capital business of a large and recognisable financial services firm
Competitive Base Salary plus Bonuses
Based in Singapore
You will manage a team to ensure the smooth running of the fund operations and administration. This will include:
• Review and signoff the quarterly and annual fund financials for the various fund entities including daily co-ordination with the Fund’s third party Administrator.
• Monitor and review with fund administrators on the preparation of financial statements and day-to-day operations for several legal vehicles, including the General Partner, special purpose vehicles including Co-investment and Carry vehicles.
• Be responsible for fund related capital calls and distributions, cash management activities which would also include preparation of management reports and tracking expenses.
• Coordinate annual audits and tax compliance for the fund entities.
• Prepare / Review capital account statements for limited partners, including recording the capital calls and distributions.
To qualify you should be CPA with at least 10 years of experience in fund management or investment management with a strong understanding of governance and control and strong accounting knowledge.Private equity experience is strongly preferred.
