Our client is a world leading FMCG Group with a long established history. They are a trusted household name in Europe and the US and have ambitious expansion plans across APAC.
They are continuing to expand their Asia Pacific operations with further investment and capacity to meet rapid growths in demand and sales. As such, they are now looking to strengthen their team further with a high-calibre finance executive.
The Financial Controller will be the number one finance person in Asia Pacific. This is a commercial focussed role to perform financial analysis and evaluate new product launches, pricing, marketing and promotions, potential MA and other investments to support business decision making, and devise market strategies to submit to the global headquarters.
You should be a qualified accountant, preferrably trained with a Big 4 audit firm. Solid commercial exposure in a FMCG or consumer goods MNC is required, either in a sourcing or retail/wholesale operation. Ideally you will have led small teams, have significant contributions to business strategy forming, are able to manage conflict situations, and can work effectively across cultures and functions. Fluency in English and Chinese is a prerequisite.
