Financial Controller – Global TV Media recruitment
Continental broadcasting conglomerate requires an exceptional Financial Controller to lead a key business region from their London base.
Reporting directly to the Group CFO and managing 6 direct reports (total team approx. 20), you will be responsible for all finance and administration activities across the European sub-region - the mission of the role is to ensure that activities are carried out in compliance with group guidelines, in financial and other matters.
Continuous improvement of the finance and administration function throughout the business area is a permanent goal. The FC must pro-actively participate in all major decisions affecting the business area and always seek to ensure visibility and control for the benefit of the group's senior management.
The position should also act as a sparring partner to the local CEO's, giving strategic advice and being involved in day-to-day business. There will be the requirement for business planning and also analysis of new businesses. Controlling of the program budget is also an important task to fulfil.
It is crucial, therefore, for the incoming individual to be fully qualified with minimum 5 years PQE and detailed knowledge of the Media sector. They will be experienced in managing staff and possess outstanding commercial and financial acumen, a strategic and analytical approach.
