Financial Controller-Insurance recruitment
My client a Insurance company based in Dubln's south side who are seeking a Financial controller to join there team. The ideal financial controller will have experience in Insurance.
Duties:
bull;Management of the Finance Department with responsibility for all financial reporting activities including all statutory, regulatory, group or other financial reporting activities.
bull;Responsible for the management and oversight of all financial planning activity which includes budgeting, re-forecasting and any other financial projections.
bull;Preparation of relevant financial presentation for the Board of Directors.
bull;Oversight and management of all treasury activities ensuring appropriate levels of control and management of these activities
bull;Oversight and management of all investment activity to ensure the strategy, as set by the Board and Investment Committee is being adhered to at all times. This will include, in conjunction with Management and the Investment Committee, monitoring the ongoing appropriateness of the investment strategy with the view to optimizing investment return while ensuring adherence to relevant group, regulatory or other requirements.
bull;Preparation for and management of all financial audit activity of both internal and external nature, including group, statutory or regulatory audits.
Required:
bull;Qualified accountant with at least 5 years relevant experience, preferably gained from the financial services environment
bull;Previous experience of managing and developing a team
bull;Proven track record in system (including GL and reporting systems) and process review, assessment and improvement implementation
