Our client is a market leading firm with operations globally. With a requirement for a Financial Controller, the position on offer forms an integral part of the Senior Management team where the successful candidate will operate at Group level and have responsibility for all aspects of the Finance function and financial reporting at Group level. THis is a fast-paced and dynamic environment so interested candidates must have a professional Accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) and have excellent financial reporting capabilities and a demonstrable track record of communicating effectively to senior management including Board of Directors. You will be required to hire, train and ensure the day to day management of the Finance team, provide monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting to the Shareholders, actively participate in the company financial matters and maintain relationships with financial institutions. In-depth experience of consolidation is a key focus for this position and operational cash-flow management and balance sheet control will be also essential elements of the role.
Ideal candidate :
- All interested professionals must have a desire to relocate
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA with a minimum of 8 years experience in a similar position
- Staff management experience is essential, as is a strong grasp of modern reporting systems.
- Group reporting under IFRS with strong technical skills including strong consolidation experience
- You must be willing and eager to contribute, as part of a senior management team, to the development of the markets in line with corporate objectives.
- Ability to make excellent presentations of the financial results to the senior management team, Board of Directors and Shareholders.
- Previous/ Current international experience will be an advantage.
