Financial Controller – International recruitment
The companies growth strategy is focused on international expansion, particularly the far-east and Europe, this role is central to that. It reports into the Head of Finance and currently oversees work from a Financial and Management reporting team but as the division grows it is expected to be a team of 3-4 qualified accountants as direct reports. The role is highly commercial, you will engage with the product development team and ensure finance aspects of the relevant products are considered. Additionally you'll ensure international companies meet financial reporting requirements, creating workshops to make sure they are rolled out and adhered to.
Progression of the role is due to growth of the international product, the team will consist of 3-5 qualified accountants within the next 2 years. Additionally due to the fluid structure and the lack of current senior skill-set the position will become a Senior FC and number 2 to the Head of Finance.
You will need to be at least 5 years post qualified accountant with the desire to work within a highly commercial and fast-paced environment that is delivery focused. It's a meritocracy with a great team playing ethic. Finally this will suit an ambitious and highly dedicated individual with their career at the top of their priorities.
