Financial Controller Job in Barnsley, Yorkshire Uk
My client is a long established business in the manufacturing sector who has built up a reputation for quality and excellence over the years. Due to expansion they now seek a proactive Financial Controller to join the team.
Reporting to the Financial Director, you will be responsible for the day to day control of the accounts function controlling the Accounts team.
Duties will include;
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Weekly and monthly reporting
• Provision of support to the operations team
• Involvement in development of strategy and key issues
• Preparation of Statutory Accounts and liaison with the Auditors
• Ongoing development of costing systems
• Budgeting and cash flow forecasting
• Staff management and development
• Ongoing systems development.
Ideally you will be a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with a good track record in your career to date including experience of staff management and the ability to communicate effectively across all areas.
