Financial Controller Job in Chessington, Southern UK

This organisaiton are a major player in the UK’s large format inkjet market, focusing on the graphics and signage sectors.  They are the largest resellers of the HP Designjet Latex printers and are an HP Gold Preferred partner.  This rapidly expanding and fast moving company are now looking for a Financial Controller.

Following the recent relocation from Central London to Chessington, and with a location in Sheffield, this is a new role that is currently being fulfilled by the MD.  Working alongside the MD the successful candidate will assist with all aspects of this £12 million turnover, rapidly expanding organisation.

This is a senior and key role reporting to the Managing Director with frequent group board level interaction. The successful candidate will play an integral role within the business and will lead the Finance Function. The key objectives of the role are to oversee regular financial reporting, financial activities, cash flow, auditing and all areas of taxation. 

This is very much a hands on position, with responsibilities also including optimising margins and cash flow, and to enable more informed decision making.

The individual selected will demonstrate excellent communication skill, a desire to understand the drivers behind the numbers and a strong attention to detail. They will have an engaging demeanour and the ability to liaise at all levels. 

Although you will come from an accountancy background you will also ideally have managed an accounts team who will look after the more traditional accountancy and administrative side of the business.
