Financial Controller Job in City Of London, London Uk
Our client are a dynamic technology business who have cultivated a market leading presence across Europe and due to exponential growth are seeking to hire a Financial Controller to oversee their European operations. Reporting to the CFO, this role forms part of the European leadership team with key involvement in business and change projects.
This challenging and broad role assumes management for a team of 12 overseeing financial reporting, tax/treasury, management accounts and commercial finance. Whilst ensuring that an appropriate control environment is prevalent, the successful candidate will challenge existing controls, processes and procedures seeking to implement best practice.
You will be responsible for the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts, performance analysis with value add commentary whilst ensuring that all internal and external reporting deadlines are met. As part of the senior management team you will also be required to drive change and fundamentally ensure finance provides an elevated level of service to the business. An additional key part of the remit is to build strong cross functional relationships and work towards raising the profile of finance across the business.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant or equivalent with excellent technical skills and an eye for detail. You will also have cultivated a track record of delivery within a similar broad role previously.
