As a highly dynamic PE backed retail group, our client have cultivated a robust portfolio of brands and following a restructure are seeking to hire a Financial Controller to assume overall responsibility for a team of 30 (4 Direct Reports). This is a challenging and broad remit within a fast paced environment with exceptional scope for career development.
You will oversee all aspects of a busy finance function ensuring that an appropriate financial control environment is prevalent. Duties include preparation of monthly board report and management accounts, cash flow forecasting and working capital management whilst enhancing and developing all financial controls, processes and procedures. The successful candidate will also manage the outsourced payroll provider, all bank loan management whilst also taking the lead on business change projects.
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACMA or equivalent) with relevant PQE having cultivated a strong track record of delivery within a retail/multi-site environment. Exceptional management skills coupled with the ability to drive change and secure buy in from senior stakeholders is requisite.
